Mandeville, Louisiana - Congressman Steve Scalise is recovering at home for the second time in three years after a traumatizing experience on his last trip home from another failed attempt at “draining the swamp.” Still angered at NFL players taking a knee, Scalise was forced to take the Metro to Reagan National when his driver was suddenly taken ill.
All was well until Scalise noticed numerous people of color exiting a flight from New Orleans, and boarding a Metro train headed north into the nation’s capital.
Scalise quickly called up his fellow congressman Clay Higgins to inquire if the Underground Railroad was still in operation.
Congress is in recess this week for Memorial Day.
